From the north/north-west

Coming from the north/north-west on the A6/A67 from Saarbrücken, Koblenz or Darmstadt, drive to the Mannheim motorway junction. Then head in the direction of Heidelberg and take the A656 to the Mannheim Seckenheim exit. Head in the direction of Edingen and, in the centre of the town, turn right in the direction Grenzhof. Grenzhof is 3 km from the town exit. Take the first left when you get to the village. Hotel Grenzhof is on the right-hand side of the village green lined with lindens. Welcome!

From the north

Coming from the north on the A5 from Frankfurt, drive to the Heidelberg motorway junction. Then head in the direction of Heidelberg on the A656 to the Mannheim Wieblingen exit. Head in the direction of Edingen. After an underpass, follow the signs to Grenzhof. You will come to a long bridge at the end of which you turn right. Grenzhof is 2 km away. Turn left into the village and then take the first left in the hamlet. Hotel Grenzhof is on the right-hand side of the village green lined with lindens. Welcome!

From the south/south-east

Coming from the south/south-east on the A5/A6 from Karlsruhe or Heilbronn, take the A5 to the Heidelberg Schwetzingen exit. From there, take the B535 in the direction of Schwetzingen to the Oftersheim/Plankstadt junction. There, turn left in the direction of Plankstadt and go straight ahead at the roundabout. After that, immediately turn left and then take the second intersecting road right past the Plankstadt cemetery. After Plankstadt, it is just 3 km through idyllic fields. In the Grenzhof, take the first right. Hotel Grenzhof is on the right-hand side of the village green lined with lindens. Welcome!

From the south

Coming from the south on the A6 or west on the A61 from Speyer. If necessary, turn off the A6 at the Dreieck Hockenheim intersection in the direction of Mannheim. At the Schwetzingen-North exit, turn off in the direction of Schwetzingen. Take the second exit from the B535 in the direction of Grenzhof. After 3 km, you will come to Grenzhof, where there is a second opportunity to turn right. Hotel Grenzhof is on the right-hand side of the village green lined with lindens. Welcome!

By public transport

Since mid-June 2019, Grenzhof also been serviced by local public transport in the Heidelberg area. Rhein-Neckar-Verkehr GmbH serves Grenzhof with a scheduled taxi service on the Grenzhof – Wieblingen Mitte line. The service runs every 60 minutes. Holders of a VRN travel pass can use the scheduled taxi free of charge. Other passengers pay Euro 1.50 per trip.
