4-star category at Grenzhof

As you enter the new hotel wing, you first come to Fireplace-Foyer8. In typical Grenzhof style – with sandstone floors, natural wood and numerous views of the beautiful surroundings – the fireplace invites you to linger for a while. Experience the extraordinary: The six new themed rooms in Haus8 and the nine themed rooms in the main building follow this design concept. The themes that are brought to life include Apple Blossom, Landlust, The Forest Room, The Gentlemen’s Room, Morning Dew, Provence and The Corn Store, to name but a few. The individually designed bathrooms and rooms are furnished by Bielefelder Werkstätten, the fabrics are from Jab-Anstoetz and the unique solid wood floors are made from stored wood. We found old paintings and photographs in the attic of the manor house, which we have lovingly restored. That is why Chancellor Bismarck now looks at you from the chess table in The Gentlemen’s Room.
